Este proyecto se realizó en una buena racha que empezamos a tener, en la que tuvimos la oportunidad de realizar varios proyectos consecutivos a lo largo de los primeros meses del año. El nombre de esta segunda casa, llamada volcanes 2, se debe a que esta pensada para ser construida en la misma zona y a tan solo unas cuadras del anterior proyecto que ya habíamos realizado, la razón de esto, fue la publicidad de boca en boca que se dio después de realizar el proyecto de Volcanes 1.
Este proyecto fue para la hermana menor de la dueña de volcanes 1 y al igual que su hermana mayor, buscaba realizar su proyecto en un terreno de iguales dimensiones, con la única diferencia de que ésta persona al ser una mujer mucho más joven, nos dio mayor libertad creativa a la hora de proponer el diseño de su futura casa, por lo que en este proyecto pudimos incluir algunas características que sin duda mejorarían por mucho la calidad de vida de sus inquilinos, como lo son mas grandes y abundantes ventanas para iluminación de todos los espacios, patios interiores, cocina y comedor integrado y sobre todo una doble altura en la sala para que pudiera dar la sensación de apertura y amplitud, además de que esto también ayudaría a que pudiera tener iluminación natural a través de domos en la azotea. Esta doble altura también nos ayudó a separar con un pequeño “puente” la recámara principal del resto de la casa, lo que sin duda traería una gran privacidad a los dos esposos con respecto al lugar donde los niños estarían realizando sus actividades. Es también en esta recámara donde se incluyo una terraza privada, a petición de lo futuros dueños, que les da una vista bastante agradable al acceso y al exterior de la casa.
This project was carried out in a good streak that we started to have, in which we had the opportunity to carry out several consecutive projects throughout the first months of the year. The name of this second house, called volcanoes 2, is due to the fact that it is designed to be built in the same area and just a few blocks from the previous project that we had already carried out, the reason for this was the word of mouth to mouth advertising that happened after carrying out the Volcanes 1 project.
This project was for the younger sister of the owner of volcanoes 1 and like her older sister, she sought to carry out her project on a plot of equal size, with the only difference that this person, being a much younger woman, gave us greater creative freedom when proposing the design of her future home, so in this project we were able to include some features that would undoubtedly greatly improve the quality of life of its tenants, such as larger and more abundant windows for lighting all the spaces, interior patios, kitchen and integrated dining room and especially a double height in the room so that it could give the feeling of openness and spaciousness, in addition to that this would also help it to have natural lighting through domes on the roof . This double height also helped us to separate the main bedroom from the rest of the house with a small “bridge”, which would undoubtedly bring great privacy to the two spouses with respect to the place where the children would be doing their activities. It is also in this bedroom where a private terrace was included, at the request of the future owners, which gives them a very pleasant view of the access and the exterior of the house.
