Esta casa fue un proyecto para un miembro del templo comunitario que se nos acercó para pedirnos ayuda en el diseño de su casa que pensaba empezar a construir con los pocos ahorros que tenía en esos siguientes meses, pero que no quería que quedara mal, por lo que al enterarse que nosotros éramos arquitectos y que habíamos estado haciendo proyectos por la zona, pensó que podríamos ayudarle a solucionar su dilema.
este proyecto, al igual que la mayoría de las casas que hemos diseñado, se pensó para un terreno de 7 x 10 m en un campo en proceso de división en el estado de México por la zona de Chalco Días Covarrúbias donde abunda la autoconstrucción. Es por esta razón que nuestro deseo de brindar ayuda y apoyo a este tipo de zonas ha sido algo que nos ha motivado por años, ya que pensamos que las personas si supieran de todos los beneficios que puede brindar el apoyo de un arquitecto, no dudarían en recurrir a uno. Nuestros proyectos en estos casos no han brindado una enorme remuneración, pero creemos que, si apoyamos a todo tipo de personas, no solo estamos ayudando a que tengan un mejor hogar, si no que ayudamos a la comunidad misma, con zonas de vivienda mucho más pensadas y personalizadas que despierte un deseo de pertenencia.
Para esta casa buscamos que luciera mucho más simple que al resto de los proyectos que habíamos estado trabajando, por la simple razón de que cuando se trata de casas de autoconstrucción creemos que proyectos elaborados como otras propuestas que hemos entregado hasta este entonces podrían ser muy difíciles de construir, sobre todo sin la supervisión correcta de un arquitecto.
This house was a project for a member of the community temple who approached us to ask for help in the design of his house that she was planned to start building with the few savings he had in the following months, but he did not want it to look bad, so that when he learned that we were architects and that we had been doing projects in the area, she thought that we could help solve his dilemma.
This project, like most of the houses we have designed, was intended for a 7 x 10 m plot in a field in the process of being divided in the state of Mexico by the area of Chalco Días Covarrubias where is abundant the self-construction. It is for this reason that our desire to provide help and support to these types of areas has been something that has motivated us for years, since we think that if people knew of all the benefits that the support of an architect can provide, they would not hesitate in resorting to one. Our projects in these cases have not provided a huge remuneration, but we believe that, if we support all kinds of people, we are not only helping them to have a better home, but we are also helping the community itself, with much more housing areas designed and personalized that awakens a desire to belong.
For this house we wanted it to look much simpler than the rest of the projects that we had been working on, for the simple reason that when it comes to self-construction houses we believe that projects developed like other proposals that we have delivered up to now could be very difficult to build, especially without the proper supervision of an architect.
